Hydrating sunscreen, perfect for under makeup
This is a very nice absorbing/ chemical sunscreen that offers broad-spectrum UV protection. It’s good and hydrating but settles down to a dry-touch finish that is a great base for makeup.
- You may know how I feel about sunscreen – you need to wear it every day as a matter of course so you need to find one that agrees with your skin. This one is great because it’s almost more of a day cream than a sunscreen.
- It has a couple of great chemical sun filters so offers very good broad-spectrum protection. There’s also a pollution shield in here, and it offers protection against blue light – from devices – and infrared light too.
- It also contains carnosine, a peptide that helps stop glycation, a process where sugars effectively crystallise the collagen and elastin in your skin and speed up the ageing process.

The first time I used this product I was quite skeptical about it. This was only because it felt quite dry on applying and didn’t seem to massage that well on the skin. However I believe this is due to me not being used to a facial sunscreen. Was previously using a day moisturiser with an SPF in which glide over the skin but are really not that beneficial.
Anyway 4 weeks later and am still using it and I honestly couldn’t be happier. You really don’t need much of this product as once applied you can feel it moisturising the skin all day but without it being greasy or sticky. Your skin just feels like it’s supposed to. I am so glad I didn’t give up on this product.
