    What is infrared-A?

Infrared-A – IR-A for short – is infrared light that penetrates through your epidermis (the outermost main layer of skin) and reaches the dermis, the second main layer. IR-A is contained in sunlight and encourages skin ageing and skin damage by generating free radicals that degrade your collagen and elastin, the key proteins that keep your skin strong and stretchy (respectively). If you want to prevent premature ageing and keep your skin in good shape, protecting it against IR-A exposure is vital.

What are the Fitzpatrick Skin Types?

The Fitzpatrick Skin Type Chart is a quick-reference classification system for evaluating human skin’s response to ultraviolet light. The chart defines six skin types, Skin Type I through Skin Type VI. Skin Type I is very fair skin that never tans and has a high risk of burning. Skin Type II is fair skin that tans mildly and burns easily. Skin Type III is olive skin that tans well but burns sometimes. Skin Type IV is light-brown skin that tans easily and has a low risk of burning. Skin Type V is brown skin that tans very well and rarely burns. Skin Type VI is dark-brown skin that tans deeply and never burns.

What do Physavie, Rosabora, and Glutathione do?

These three ingredients help sensitive skin that is prone to redness. Physavie has soothing and anti-inflammatory effects and helps restore the skin barrier. Rosabora also has soothing effects and helps reduce skin redness. Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that neutralises free radicals and protects skin cells from oxidative stress.
