This corrective night cream smooths, brightens and refines skin texture while also improving skin hydration from the inside out. It’s brilliant for rough, crepey, sun-damaged or more mature skin. This is a great one to try if you are new to cosmeceutical skincare and just want to start with one thing that isn’t complicated to use, and which will definitely give you results.
The key ingredient in here is a 10% concentration of glycolic acid in here which:
- will make your skin smoother, because it encourages a chemical exfoliation on the surface of the skin
- will leave your skin looking brighter, as it reduces surface pigmentation
- will make your skin plumper and softer, because glycolic acid helps the skin to hydrate itself from within.
It’s very easy to use – you just massage it into clean, dry skin every evening and if, after a couple of weeks, you want to step it up to using it in the mornings, too, you can do that. Just make sure you’re using sunscreen on top of it during the day, as alpha hydroxy acids such as glycolic acid (which is the key ingredient here) make skin more sensitive to ultraviolet light. That way, you will protect the results you’re getting.
