Anti-pigmentation Serums and Vitamin C Serums

All Skin Types

C+ Correcting Complex 30% gives your skin a high dose of vitamin C plus vitamin E and other antioxidants to neutralise free radicals that can damage your skin’s structure and contribute to signs of ageing. The patent-pending MelaPATH technology works to brighten, refine, and rejuvenate your skin, improving the skin’s tone and texture. The serum also hydrates your skin and strengthens the skin barrier, making the skin more elastic and youthful-looking.

Use C+ Correcting Complex 30% morning and evening after cleansing your face but before moisturising it. Dispense one pump of serum into the palm of your hand, and then apply the serum evenly to your face, taking care to avoid your eye area.

    What are prebiotics?

Prebiotics are substances that provide food for beneficial bacteria – in this case bacteria on your skin. By sustaining these good bacteria, the prebiotics contribute to your skin having a healthy microbiome.

    What is HEVL?

HEVL is the abbreviation for High Energy Visible Light, part of the light spectrum that’s visible to humans and that consists of high-energy light waves with a short wavelength. These light waves are typically in the blue and violet band, so they’re often called ‘blue light’. HEVL is naturally present in sunlight, but LED screens (such as those on smartphones, tablets, and laptops) and LED lightbulbs also emit HEVL, albeit in much smaller amounts.

Why might my skin need extra antioxidants?

Your skin might need extra antioxidants to counteract free radicals and prevent damage occurring. Free radicals, molecules that have unpaired electrons, are highly reactive and can damage your skin, leading to more wrinkles and less skin elasticity. Your body naturally produces antioxidants as part of its defence mechanism against free radicals, but if this defence mechanism is compromised, getting extra antioxidants from your diet or from cosmetic products can be helpful.
