SKIN TYPE

All Skin Types, Combination Skin, Dry Skin, Normal Skin, Oily Skin, and Sensitive Skin

The Vital Assist Skincare Moisturise + Lift Daily Essential Hydrator is designed to hydrate, calm, firm, and strengthen your skin barrier – using a well-balanced mix of humectants, emollients, antioxidants, peptides, and bio-fermented extracts.

In particular, it is powered by ingredients that are rich in omega fatty acids (especially omega-6 and omega-9), which help replenish essential lipids in the skin’s barrier, making it more supple, less reactive, and better at holding onto moisture. That’s crucial if your skin is dry, compromised, or just feeling out of balance.

The formula also contains humectants like glycerin and hyaluronic acid to draw moisture into the skin; oils that mimic your skin’s natural lipids; and peptides to help support collagen production and improve skin elasticity. It has been specifically designed to be lightweight and fast-absorbing too.

Do you need a moisturiser in your routine?

Even if your skin feels “normal” or oily, a moisturiser can help maintain a healthy barrier, lock in hydration, and protect against environmental stress. A good moisturiser is therefore not just about dryness; it’s about resilience. The right formula can also help you avoid side effects when using potent actives such as retinoids and exfoliating acids, which can otherwise dry out your complexion.

What ingredients should I look for in my moisturiser?

For core ingredients, look for amazing moisturisers such as humectants (like glycerin, hyaluronic acid, saccharide isomerate): to draw in moisture; emollients (like squalane, fatty acids, ceramides) to soften and smooth the skin; and occlusives (like oils): to lock moisture in.

You can then supercharge your moisturiser with other targeted actives such as peptides for anti-ageing, antioxidants for added skin protection, and soothing barrier boosters like niacinamide.
