Why we recommend

No mere cleanser, this lightweight gel is rightly called an ‘everything’ cleanser because it not only provides a deep cleanse, but is also exfoliating and anti-acneic. You only need a tiny amount of it to do the job, so although not cheap, it will last a good long time, and its gentle enough to not strip your skin’s natural oils.

I first purchased this product from a spa and continue to love using it. It removes eye makeup and does not irritate my eyes. Try it!

I love this product. I have been using it for a little over a year. By far my favorite daily cleanser. It is worth the money. I use a dime sized amount and the product goes a long way. I usually can get about 6 months out of the bottle.

It’s a great cleanser, scent isn’t too strong which is great. Definitely recommend it

Buy anything IS CLINICAL..it has led the industry for years and was only sold in quality salons before Amazon.

This gentle face wash provides a deep cleanse plus exfoliation thanks to willowbark extract (a source of salicylic acid) and sugar cane extract (a source of glycolic acid). Together, the ingredients effectively remove excess oils, impurities and makeup from your pores, while gently resurfacing your skin’s surface.

What is the best type of cleanser to choose?

It really depends on what your skin requires. If it feels tight or very dry, you probably want a nice, rich, comforting balm or oil-based cleanser. But if you’re oilier, you might prefer something gel-based or lightly foaming that makes your skin feel clean and fresher.  In short, choose something your skin likes and that you enjoy using, and do it twice a day.

    What are exfoliating cleansers?

Exfoliating cleansers contain alpha, beta or poly hydroxy acids (such as lactic acid, glycolic acid or salicylic acid) or fruit enzymes. They perform a light chemical exfoliation on the skin as you cleanse. This is beneficial as it can help remove rough tecture, combat acne and even hydrate your skin, supercharging the benefits of your cleansing routine.

Do I need to double cleanse?

If you wear a lot of makeup, it probably isn’t a bad idea to consider double cleansing – although for bare skin or minimal makeup days, there may be less need. An easy way to try double cleansing is to use the same cleanser twice; the first time is to get rid of surface grime, the second one to work a little deeper into the skin. The exception to this is: if you’re using a foaming cleanser, do not double cleanse. This will strip all the oil out of your skin.

Can iS Clinical Cleansing Complex be used to help acne?

iS Clinical Cleansing Complex is a brilliant product for acne-prone skin as it contains gentle exfoliating active ingredients including willowbark extract, a source of salicylic acid which helps to decongest blocked pores, and sugar cane extract, a source of glycolic acid which helps to clear dead skin cells that can block pores and contribute to acne. It will get your skin beautifully clean without stripping it of all moisture, which is also important when managing acne.

Can I use iS Clinical Cleansing Complex for Rosacea?

Yes, iS Clinical Cleansing Complex is great for rosacea-prone skin. It cleanses thoroughly, but it is gentle in the way it does it.

How much iS Clinical Cleansing Complex should I use each day?

It’s fine to use iS Clinical Cleansing Complex twice a day – I often do. It’s up to you how much product you use – but you don’t need a great deal of it for effective cleansing. Experiment to see what works best for you.
